Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and many more Many retailers are realizing that pets are part of the family for so many consumers that they are welcoming dogs in their businesses. Great job!

These retailers are on board, however, if you’re heading to Walmart leave your dog at home. Never leave your dog in a hot car.

It’s our responsibility to use common sense while shopping with your dog. Your dog should be well behaved and allow your dog to potty before going inside. Will your dog be comfortable in that type environment? My husky, for example, was anxious in the appliance section of Home Depot when he was a pup. I don’t take my fur shedding husky into clothing stores. And remember, not everyone likes dogs so be respectful of other customers while shopping.

Check your favorite retail store to see if they allow dogs. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Take your dogs out and shop you drop
