I believe that we choose the pet, they don’t choose us, and it is our responsibility to give our pets the best life possible. Hiking with a dog can bring joy to both you and your dog.
My Siberian Husky, Halo, is the most outgoing and extroverted being I have ever met. He lives with passion, as most dogs do, and he has taught me to be more present from day to day. He balances my introverted tendencies. It’s hard to be invisible with such an exuberant creature by your side. People are drawn to him like moths to a light, and I have met some pretty amazing people because of it.
I started living in my mid-forties. I’ve been skydiving, I’ve learned fly fishing, bikejoring, and discovered real love. I tried rock climbing and ran a marathon. Now that I’m approaching my mid-fifties, I feel like I have found my voice.
Mother to two beautiful grown daughters, Nana to two handsome grandsons, and I love outdoor adventures and learning new things.
